Tunde Kabab known as Galawati Kabab.

How to make Tunde Kabab or Galawati Kabab


Ingredients:

500 gms minced Mutton (Grind in Mixer Minimum 20 times)

 
25 Gms. Raw Papaya Paste


10 Gms. Bread crumbs


1 Meduim sized chopped Onion

10 Pods Garlic (Lasan )

1 " long piece Cinnamon (Dalchini)

1 " long piece Ginger (Adrak)

1 tsp Cumin Seed (Jeera)

2 Black Cardamoms

2 Green Cardamoms

5 Pepper corns (Kalimirchi)

3 Red Chillies
5 Green Chilly (Hari Mirch) chopped
100 Gms. Bengal Gram (Chana) soaked overnight

Ghee/Clarified Butter



 How to make Tunde kabab:



  •      Take meat and mix raw papaya paste for Marination for 30min.
  •      Take Garlic, Cumin seeds, Black Cardamoms, Cinnamon, Ginger, Peppercorns, Red Chillies, Bread Crumbs and Soaked gram dal and grind into a fine paste.
  •       Mix both the pastes well and Prepare a uniform dough.
  •       Add finely chopped green chillies, onion and crushed Green Cardamoms to dough and mix well.
  •        Shape the dough into small round flattened balls or kababs.
  •       Heat Ghee/Butter in Pan and kababs till golden brown and serve hot with sauce or chutney.

    1. Sorry but this is the worst rip off for any kabab recipe. Any Lakhnavi would die of shame making this Tunday kabab. kabab with bread crumbs, are you joking? Original recipe is hardly known and is now a part of folklore, but used to contain more than 100 masalas, including sandalwood and zafran.

    2. I agree with Rajeev. Don't call this Tundey kabab. Call it your own kababs. The keema is not boiled. It's tendered with raw papaya.

    5. I know that this isn't anywhere close to Tunday Kababi's recipe. However, I tried it and it doesn't taste that bad.
